Oh well, my canadian part tells me that i should not leave without a positive note. Therefore, let's say at least that Immigration is a wonderful way to learn that there's different levels of importance for things and that the fact of being 'on your own" helps you to quickly understand what are your priorities and act accordingly. Many times, we had priorities in our countries of origin that through the lenses of distance and time seem worthless now. Will write more on future posts, but i felt i had to say something about this now. Hey, no doubt this is a sign of overadaptation!
